Sup guys,

Happy 4th,

Hope everyone is hanging in there.

Just a lil change on my timeline went from 10 months to 09 months.

 We getting there.

Same but mine says 10. This is a useless countdown however like the other guy said. I do not think it will take 9-10 more months based on how other cases are progressing. Good luck bro.

I had no idea this was a possibility when we filed.  I thought 9 months if we were lucky!

It’s says on your interview invitation what you supposed to bring :) and plus take anything that’s new. For example we just got pre approval for mortgage and I am planning to take it as it’s something financial on our name :) good luck!

Yep, mine still stuck on 13 month. I wouldn’t pay attention to it at all. Irrelevant

Interview scheduled today for July 20th, based on military filing.

Field office: Baltimore MD.
I arrived around 8:30 am for my 9 am interview but wasn't called in till 9:30. The interview was pretty straightforward, the interviewer only asked for my state ID, military ID and green card. Then he proceeded to asking about the civics question, it was almost like a conversation and not even a quiz.
After passing the 6 questions requirement, He told me to read "who was Abraham Lincoln" from the tablet and told me to write some phrase down. After that, he switched to asking Yes/No questions.
I was then told I passed but and he was going to schedule me for an oath. He tried scheduling me for an oath but the ceremony day was when i'm going to military boot camp. The interviewer asked if I could make it and I told him no since i'm required to travel a day before. I was told it was above his pay grade to make change to the oath ceremony day and I should go back out to the main room so he could talk to his supervisor.
A few minutes later he came out and called me in back and told me he was able to schedule me for same day oath! yay. The oath ceremony was very memorable and a great experience.
Good luck to everyone out there waiting for their interviews. If anyone wants to know more feel free to ask.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hello all! Todays I successfully passed my N-400 interview at Milwaukee Field Office. Interview was scheduled for 1-40. At 1-50 they invited me to the room with 2 officers. Everything was in very friendly manner. First they asked civics questions and after 6 correct ones they stopped. Then I had to read “What State has the most people” and write on IPad “California has the most people”. After that we went through all the n-400 form, she was casually asking me about how we met, where we work, etc etc. Just a normal conversation.

Then she went through all the Yes/ No questions. She didn’t ask any evidence or papers, but took our mortgage approval for the house we just bought and told me to update the address with Uscis after moving. But didn’t look at any taxes or anything else, didn’t even mentioned it.

In the end she printed me a letter with “Congratulatons, I recommended for approval bla bla”. That’s it :) Waiting on update now. I am glad it’s almost over!

Will update when notice for Oath shows up :D

Just took my N-400 interview at the Burlington, VT Field Office, and pleased to say I passed. Interview was scheduled for 10am, but only got invited in at 10.25. Very friendly interviewer, lots of casual chit chat before hand. Started with some biometrics were a photo and then fingerprints were taken, then was asked the civics questions. These were:

  1. Name a state that borders Canada
  2. Name your state Capital (Montpelier)
  3. Who is the current president
  4. Name one right only for US Citizens
  5. What did Susan B Anthony do
  6. What did Abraham Lincoln do

I got the first six questions correct, at which point I was was told I passed that part. I then had to read and write a sentence, which I have forgotten, but passed as well. We then went through the N400 application questions, quickly, and was told that I was approved, and would be scheduled for an Oath Ceremony in the next month or so.

Very happy to be almost done with this, and best of luck to everyone still going through this process.
