I heard the estimated time isn’t always accurate! People have had their N400 adjudicated much more quicker than what the estimated time says

I have heard the same too. Looks like a decent number of people from Jan-Feb have gotten their interviews already! Really hoping USCIS continues that trend 😁

Their estimate time is so big so people won’t bother them constantly. If they would put est time 3-5 months and people won’t get their interviews during that time, they will be overwhelmed with phone calls, messages, etc. So they did it to avoid it. I waited for my GC 7 months ( even est time was 12-15 months). No point to worry about and no point to believe those est timelines. I checked other people timelines who got interviews at my office and most of them waited around 4 months ( including my friend).

I get you. And what you wrote makes sense. But my friend, my local office in St Paul MN is actually slower than a snail. Took me exactly a year to get the first card and N400 is not going to be any different regardless whose administration directs the USCIS. We are just slow sadly.

I think it’s depends. I just know that their estimates aren’t correct. You just never know how long it would take..
