Hi!

I filed for removal of conditions on March, 2021, received notification of biometric going to be reused, then nothing. Then filed N400 on March 2022, received interview date same month and interview is coming on April.

My question is. What happens to my minor son that came with me as a K2 visa holder and has done this process with me? If I get my citizenship how that affects him or how can I get his?

thanks

I work for USPS ( 10 year greencard and at least 5 years of living in the USA required). All the postal workers are federal employees ( I had to take the Oath too before I could start to work). I think it’s the only agency that doesn’t required citizenship:) but yeah if I want to move to different one, I need a citizenship.

Welcome!

The processing time will go down after they use your biometric. On top of that I think Indy might be a relatively faster office. good luck

So, I filed I-751 at EAC  April 2021. My I-751 case still states that fingerprints were taken. I just recent filed my N400  in South Dakota and apparently my field office is St. Paul, MN (although my case is being processed at NBC)? Also, my biometrics has been reused and it's estimated to be done in 13months. So basically I-751 still at Vermont and N400 filed in SD.

On another note, my USC spouse just brought up wanting a divorce but wanted us to complete the N400 process together. We still have a lease and other stuff joint together like our 2021 taxes and we are still legally married. She just wants to complete this naturalization process since we've been together for so long. Is there any reason I should not do it. (Also, we have a very cordial and amicable relationship and we were in love at one point, just not anymore). Also, she has provided me with all the documents needed from her for this application too. I look forward to your advice.

If she want help you finish the pricess then you can not divorce until the proces n400 is done. If you divorce before n400 then, apolication will be deny.

to apply for n400 base on 3 years rule , you need be married to usc and living together, but if divorce can not wait, then you need change your i-751 to divorced and n400 will be deny but not the i-751 if you have good evidence of good faith marriage
