I had my interview in Indianapolis today 12/12/2022, my husband was with me but the officer didnt call him in.

i had my n-400 interview and remove of condition, the officer was a woman , very nasty and mad, she asked me the civil test question using diferents words just trying to make fail, I answered six questions and passed the test, each answer she was mad because look like she was waiting that I answer incorrectly.

after going through different personal questions about my marriage, and all the application, she said that she need more documents from me. That I would get a letter on the mail asking for more documents.

she gave a page with the mark as i passed the test, a mark on more information needed and a mark on decision an not be make yet.

But in the afternoon i checked my status and changed to oath ceremony will be scheduled.

so soon i will say I am done with USCIS

Lol she can suck it. Congrats!!

I am so sorry she was so nasty. It always boggles my mind that people who clearly don't like immigrants work for the immigration department.

Congratulations on your upcoming oath ceremony! They never mailed us a notice for ours, but if you check back into your portal in a few days, you can find the date (or at least we were able to). I think the date was in the pdf attached to the online update.

Well fellas, seems like my interview has been scheduled! No email or text but checked the case status just a few minutes ago and it says:

On December 9, 2022, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOE1234567890. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I then logged into the USCIS website and it's for Jan 20.

Cannot believe that this is happening. Just yesterday, it had 22 days as estimated time to decision and I was thinking yeah right. Btw right now it says 9 months.

So excited for this!! Those who haven't heard back yet, I hope you hear soon!!

Congratulations. Wish you all the best. I have seen you in many of these forums. Always a helpful person. God bless

Had my interview this morning in Minneapolis. Not a combo interview as my RoC was resolved in 2022 but brought my wife anyway. Arrived there about 30 min before the scheduled time. Took just a couple of min to get through the security, few more min to check in at the front desk and waited in the lobby for maybe 15 min. My ticket number was called exactly on my scheduled time. The officer was serious but friendly, I guess, as I found out after the interview he loves my home country for its beautiful landscape, etc. Anyway, he swore me in and asked 6 questions:

- One of 4 amendments on voting (18 or older, no $ to vote, women can vote, all race can vote)

- President during WW2

- No. of supreme court justices

- No. of senators

- How many years we elect president for

- One of the 2 longest river

He asked me to say out loud ' Who can vote?' and write 'Citizens can vote.' on the tablet.

Then some yes/no questions from the application followed by where do I live, with whom, where I got married, where I work. Then one final round of yes/no questions from the application. That was it!

I asked him if I passed and he said the software will tell us after confirming some personal information (address, name change, etc). The paper printed saying I passed and have been recommended for citizenship. I then asked about oath ceremonies and he said to wait for a letter in the mail and not to have travel plans for the next couple of weeks.

I came home to check the status update and found two updates:

Status Date
Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled January 20, 2023
We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review. January 20, 2023

I guess barring something crazy, I will take my oath soon and this long journey will be over.

Those who are still waiting, good luck!! Shouldn't be too long for you.
