Lost my I-683 help!

I did my medical exam and received the Do Not Open Envelope from my doctor. 
 

The hot mess that I am, I lost the envelope before I got a chance to send it to USCIS. I called the doctors office to reissue the form, but I won’t know what’s going to happen until the doctor is back in the office, which is Monday (in 4 days) and the anxiety is killing me. 
 

Has anyone been in this situation before? Are they going to make me redo the whole exam and pay again? - the latter is what I really do not want to do. 

 

When are they finally going to make these electronic? It’s ridiculous 😩
