Hello guys.  So here's my situation.

I went to study in the US for high school, and college. But I had to postpone my education due to a series of very unfortunate events in my family, then I moved back to my home country.

Now I'm having a hard time fitting in and began to realize that living a life here isn't what I wanted. I somehow resonate with the people in the US than I do in my home country.

But I no longer have financial support from my parents, I still don't have my college degree yet, and I'm completely lost.

Can you guys give me some advice on what I can do, so I can at least stay there and pursue my dream ?

You will need a visa to visit here.

To live your options are Marriage or Lottery visa (if apply to your country)

Work visa, investors and any kind of family visa doesn’t looks like will fit for your situation.

Unfortunately there is not a Dreamer visa.

good luck

Thank you for the response . It is kind of a tough one for me.  It would take time for me to finish my degree before i'm eligible for a work visa I think. So the best way is to get married, also has to be a real one. What about a student visa that doesn't require much tuitions. So I can at least stay there to explore possibilities ?

Hi, guys.

So long story short. I was in the states for a long time but lost financial support from my parents. Now I'm trying to go back.

So I was wondering if there are any type of schools that don't cost much money but are able to issue a student visa.

If there are that'll be awesome.

Thank you

Student visa is for studying...not staying and exploring possibilities.

I don't understand how you can only "resonate well with US" but to each their own.

Good luck

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Even cheapest US schools are expensive to a normal foreigner. If you don't have someone to sponsor you as you said, how are you going to pay?

I think you misunderstood the " explore possibilities" part.  I don't mean to exploit the student visa just to stay, I was thinking about go back and finish my degree as I seek for legal job opportunities.

What are you studying?

I have attended one of the cheaper US schools while on a student visa.  It was still tens of thousands of dollars.  How will you show you can financially support yourself (a requirement for all student visas, plus health insurance) if you do not have support from your parents?

Good luck

An F1, itself,  is not the appropriate route to remain..
