Anyone know how long before a police report expires? My fiancé acquired a Nigerian police report back in January when he went to visit but we are still waiting for our application to be approved. He currently resides in Italy.

It depends specifically on your country; I see your fiance got one from Nigeria, but if you're interviewing in Italy, it's a bit uncertain which rules would apply. You can check the State Department's visa rules for each country by googling "State Department visa requirements [country name]".

 

Seeing your NOA1 date of June, however, I think it's all but guaranteed he'll end up needing a new one. I've seen them be valid anywhere from 6 months - 2 years (latter being quite rare), and I expect NOA2 to still take a year or more for a while longer. Much better to cross this bridge when you come to it at approval time, imho. At that point he can get a renewed certificate from Nigeria and a fresh one from Italy. Good luck!

If your fiance hasn't gone back to Nigeria after getting the last PC, it will not expire for US visa purpose.
