Bank statement and affidavit of support

I will try not to make this very long. My filipina fiancee is having her medical in about 2 hours by Philippines time and that  should not be a  problem. Her official k1 visa interview is next Thursday at 8:30 am. As my discussion title reads, I am trying to get things together for the i134 affidavit of support. There are 2 issues. I called my bank about doing the bank statement and they told me that I had to provide them the info about when I opened the accounts and what was the total amount I put in each account. I don't know remember when I opened the accounts since it was many  years ago. I emailed my lawyer secretary and she said just to print out as many bank statements a possible for each account which I can do. But I don't think I can get a signed bank statement. The other thing is the previous tax returns. I understand that the Manila consulate prefers seeing copies from the Irs website but it isn't necessary. I can print the last few years but it wouldn't be off the Irs website. I tried to make an Irs account to get their tax records but I couldn't sign I'm because I don't remember the password. I guess I will just have to print out from my own records and hopefully that will work for the embassy in Manila. I also have to get my last 3 months pays tubs and my last 3 years w2 copies. I have to answer some questions for the i134 as well. I'm hoping some other vj people who have been through the k1 experience in the Philippines might be able to give me some advice so I can get this done.

Most embasies require these documents to be originals (not scanned)

can u get them to her in time?

Most banks provide a monthly statement or you can download it when you log into your account. It seems that you are trying to get something a lot more complicated than what you need.

Reset whatever you need to reset to get into your IRS account. It is best to have the transcripts. It will make things a whole lot easier.

 

I have to ask...Why did you wait till the last minute?

Most likely you will be ok with your copies of the tax returns and the W2's. Unless you are at the borderline or under the requirements they won't give you a problem.

Manila does not.

In the past Manila did not look at the 1-134.  They will look at your required Tax paperwork.  I am not saying don't do the affidavit of support,  but copies of documents should be fine.

Log in to IRS and get your transcripts if you are missing some of your returns. My 2019 have to be pulled from the IRS. In our case we didn't attached any bank statements. Only W2's, Tax Returns and pay stubs. My Fiancé was surprise when she printed my tax returns & w2's because it was literally almost 200+ pages. And by the way - They ALL took on the day of the interview. 

 

All of these are copies.
