EAD @ JFK

Hope all is well with everyone and that your process is progressing to your satisfaction. By the grace of God, my fiancé POE will be JFK, when he gets his VISA. Fortunately for me it’s only a four hour drive to my home, if a problem should arise. My question is, is there a fee for the EAD stamp at the POE @ JFK?

Hi Akoto,

there is no fee for the EAD stamp, I went through JFK too. The EAD stamp is valid as long as your K1 visa.

Hi Akoto,

there is no fee for the EAD stamp, I went through JFK too. The EAD stamp is valid as long as your K1 visa.

The Temp EAD is free and is valid for 90 days from the date you enter the same as your I-94..... your K1 is valid for entry for 6 months from the date of issue... once you enter the US it is no longer valid except is very extream circumstances ie. you have to leave the US befor marriage and before the 90 days is up....
