How can I bring my parents to the US from Ukraine ?

Hi, I am a permanent resident living in Houston. I am the only member of my family living in the US.

I am the only child of my parents and I single. My parents have fled to Poland from Ukraine and we are currently exploring how can I bring them here ?

We are from North-Eastern city of Sumy which is already under Russian control, there is no way back for my parents...

I see that I can't file I130 for my parents because I am not a citizen yet, however, what options are available ?

I am reading about crossing a border by foot from Canada/Mexico and asking for a humanitarian parole, however, news say that only 7 Ukrainians were admitted like that so far...

Any suggestions where to start with this ?

You have a few options:

 

- Apply for Humanitarian Parole for them

- Look into refugee options via UNHCR, there is more info on that here:

- Go to the Mexican border and ask to be admitted under Humanitarian Parole. This is not an "official" policy and thus has no guarantees.
