Small update. After  ore then a month wait for the new fridge to arrive. They no show, no call no nothing. I called to find out what's up. The lady had no clue and called the delivery company. Of course they don't answer the phone. She sets up a new delivery date. The night before I get a call saying the box was pretty damaged so they opened it up and say the fridge was damaged. The guy went ahead and ordered me another. A week alter it gets delivered. The guys where polite but a little dumb and can't read a measuring tape. They didn't want to take the fridge through the door right off the kitchen. Tried to tell me it won't fit the fridge is too big. Ya right, my bigger fridge had no issues, but what do I know I'm just a women 🙄. So they go all the way around to the front door and bring it in two smaller doors.   They had to take the doors off to get it in, which is the dumbest thing ever since they could have just walked it in the other door. They hook up the water line and didn't bother taking all the plastic off and out of the fridge. They didn't even set up my shelves. I should have made them, I wasn't thinking and the shelves could have been broken or something.

 

So off they went and I get everything installed, plastic removed and leave the fridge empty like they said for 24 hours so it can cool. 

Well low and behold the darn thing does not cool. It's actually getting hotter then the Samsuck did. So I get ahold of Costco because no way am I having a fridge that does not cool right off the bat. They are scheduling pick up of it and said GE does their own repairs so she will contact them for me and then send me an email with a new delivery fridge. 

 

So now I have a 2 hot fridges in the house. 😭 One thing is for sure if the next one doesn't work right and I mean perfect not a single issues I'm going to shove it up someone's back end!

Omg this is the fourth attempt third fridge. First attempt they didn't even show up. Second time I get a call. They said the box was majorly damaged and they opened the box to see a huge scratch. Third time they fridge was delivered but does not stay cold. We're talking 50 degrees plus. This picture is the fourth attempt. They get it out of the box and see this. Walmart is starting to look like the place to buy a fridge.

Apparently you are not allowed to have anything more than a insulated box with shelves disguised as a refrigerator.

It sure feels like it. 

 

The icing on the cake last night when I called Costco. The lady asked if I would except replacement items to repair the fridge. I'm like can't repair something I don't have. It never left the truck, it's already gone. She kept repeating herself. I'm like fine NO I do not want replacement parts to fix it. It either shows up in perfect shape or it does not come in the house.

I'm a firm believer that people like that are why people have mid life crises.  You question their ability to walk, talk and chew gum...

We had this problem with a fridge a few years back. The freezer was damaged inside.. don't know how to describe it but the coating was flaked off and where the "coils" are were almost buckled or bubbling. When delivering the replacement, they cracked a dehydrator and told us this was the last model they had left so take it or leave it.

 

Last month we finally got a new washer. Very hesitant in knowing the problems we had the last time, but there's no way I can afford a Speed Queen. Everyone wanted a top loader this time, and some of them are stupidly overpriced and needing phone/internet connectivity and downloading ringtones. The basic ones were just a little bit too simple. Ended up going with a very spacious Whirlpool that has a removable agitator. When they delivered it, they freaked out about us having a septic, yanked the water lines off without shutting off the valve and cracked it which spilled water all over the floor. Then they refused to install anything and left. They left us with hoses that were too short and did not even test to see if the unit worked. Went back to the store and spoke to a person in the appliance department to complain. They told us they had no idea about appliances because this was not their normal department to work in and the appliance guy was out sick. We went and found longer hoses, fixed the pipe, and installed the whole thing ourselves. It's working great so far.
