Current income is what matters the most.

Sometimes people filling out I-864 use their previous tax year income as their current income, and this mistake ultimately causes the I-864 and therefore the I-485 to be rejected.

Current income = gross pay per pay period * pay periods per year.

Yes the current income exceed the minimum requirement, the savings are just a part a par of the income.

Thank you, the fiancé has the right to put his savings too to complete the application or it's only the petitionner?

Both can use assets however they must be highly liquid, easily converted to cash, and the source clearly shown.

Please open the instructions and read them.  You appear to have not.

Thanks, I've read but I'm still asking for clarification. Will my fiancé also be able to add his current bank account even if it is a foreign bank account?

Is your fiance in the US or not

Please fill out a timeline

Please review the “assets of intending immigrant” section in the form instructions.

You are confusing everyone here. Please clarify where you are in the process and what you are filing. That can make a huge difference. You mentioned that this is for adjustment of status after a K1, but you also said that this is for your fiance. If this is about the I-134, we'll also need to know which consulate you are going through, as that makes a big difference as well.

We are at the beginning of the process, we are waiting for the NOA2 but I have read how the rest of the process is going and they are asking for the income for the adjustment of status after obtaining the visa. This is why I am asking for information to be sure if I am in the required conditions.

Thanks again, sorry because I don't want to bother people with all my questions.

If you simply fill out your timeline, people wouldn’t be so confused.

Click the link under number 2. and fill in your timeline

No bother.  For AOS the answers given were accurate (except Mike applied the 5x rule when for K1/spouse it is the 3x rule)

For the K1 visa interview (the I134 support affidavit) earlier note is correct - the consulates treat assets differently.

You happened to catch me and we filed twice on “assets only” so I know a lot on how to do it.

Good luck.

Not yet, i've read about the process and i ask for the future to be ready.

I'm new, i don't know about how to fill out the timeline.

Thank you very much for your explanations.

For the K-1, you will use the I-134. It will depend on the consulate if your savings are accepted and if your evidence is sufficient. This varies by country, and in some countries they may not even review the I-134. Do some research in the regional forums here, and find consulate reviews to get a better understanding.

For Adjustment of Status after entering on a K1, you will have to complete an I-864. The minimum income requirement will be a bit higher than for the I-134. Your savings will need to be 3 times the amount you are missing in income, and they will want to see 12 months of bank statements.

If you are just now filing the K1, you still have a long way to go, so you may have proof of a higher income by that time. The I-134 is needed at the embassy interview; the I-864 is mailed with the I-485.

Thank you all, so it's possible that my fiancé will add his bank account to the file so that the agent can see his savings in the I-864 file.

I want to complete the timeline to have a complete profile.

Thanks again.

By AOS step your fiance SHOULD have transferred assets to the US after which your assets can be combined into an I864.

Your focus right now is your upcoming I134 support affidavit for a future K1 visa interview.

I understand, he transfers the savings from his bank account to a bank account that he will open in the US

Thank you, really for your explanations, we didn't take any lawyers and that's really a lot to know

You are asking for something that will happen way later in the future - AOS and I-864. If your fiance arrives next year the amount will be different.  Also, you'll have to try to remember these answers and not confuse them with other things you will need to do.

If you are still waiting for the NOA2, then I suggest you to ask about the I-134 affidavit of support. That has different requirements, and is also country dependent.  Some countries allow for co sponsors, some do not.  Some countries allow for self sponsor of the beneficiary (assets), some do not.
