That is the sad thing about our elite leaders particularly those, in DC and the NE, they know how to cheat the system and feel, they will face little consequences.  I am curious if Bill and Hillary actually have the money to fight this.

I would agree with you on Hillary, but Trump still has a lot of sway over a large portion of the base that may vote GOP.  If he decides to run again (not something I would be in favor of), he will get a lot of support from the "new" GOP base, not so much from those elite GOPers, but it might be enough for a primary win.

I think if he does decide to run again he will get the nomination. And I’m guessing no one else would come close to beating him.

In my view, it's also possible that anyone who persists in running in the primary against him would risk severe political backlash or condemnation from the public.

 

However, maybe having primary challengers would cause him to clarify his own positions and thus benefit him later in the general election.
