I-693 MMR vaccine Trying to Conceive/Pregnancy

Hello all,

Currently have been trying to conceive for a few months now and the only vaccine shot required to finish the 693 form is MMR (low immunity).

on CDC.gov it says "MMR vaccines should not be administered to woman known to be pregnant or attempting to become pregnant".

Went to a Civil Surgeons office and the office staff mentioned that they are okay with excluding the MMR due to that reason but it is up to the officer to determine if it's okay and how to go about it. The interview is next month.

Will they delay the AoS process if we go there with this reason? I know no one can predict what will happen but does this situation seem like it isn't a reason to be concerned for our interview date?

Actually says this

  • Some vaccines, such as the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine, should be given a month or more before pregnancy if a pregnant person didn’t get the vaccine as a child.

it should not delay interview but the officer will decide if the reason(s) is valid
