Domestic travel

Hi 

I filed for AOS after esta.

i got a receipt notice saying that my case was received.

am i able to travel domestically with this notice?

Not a USC, no Green Card so is required to have Passport to hand

 

Plus the need for ID if flying.

You need a US State ID for flying domestically, if you don't have one yet, then you would need passport.

Not the case here but yes, just like LPRs have to carry their GC.

 

Section 264(e) of the Immigration & Nationality Act
Section 262 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) mandates that all foreign nationals must register with the appropriate government agency upon entering the United States. Once aliens have registered, Section 264(e) of the Immigration and Nationality Act that all citizens of another country 18 years or older must carry some form of identification with them at all times. As stated in the INA:

(e) Every alien, eighteen years of age and over, shall at all times carry with him and have in his personal possession any certificate of alien registration or alien registration receipt card issued to him pursuant to subsection (d). Any alien who fails to comply with the provisions of this subsection shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction for each offense be fined not to exceed $100 or be imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both.
