intervew Medical appointment after interview date

Hi all, 

 

I have received an interview date to which is currently placed prior to my medical exam date by about 13days. 

I am not sure what to do, as the London Embassy is instructing me to "miss" my interview and wait for it to be automatically rescheduled, where as I have been instructed to also attend the interview and show my medical appointment and confirmation. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

same is happening in many embassies

 

go to interview

case will be in AP (say refused on CEAC site but don't worry) till the medical exam is sent in by dr

Thank you this is reassuring, the Embassy said they've been instructing people to miss their appointments as did the medical place. Though im much more relaxed now and just hope it all goes well!! can't wait for this process to be over!

The UK forum is fairly active, I would follow that channel for updates. 

Another suggestion I've seen is to keep checking for cancellations. You might be able to snag an appointment a few days before the interview.

I shall do that. yes I've asked them to call me if they get a cancellation. My interview is on the 12th April so either way unless they call me this week with an appointment for Monday I'll be waiting for them to approve pending medical regardless. Got caught off guard with how soon they scheduled the interview!!

Hi, DQ on the 19th March and then the interview was emailed through on the 23rd March. We weren't expecting it to be that fast!!! 

The NVC scheduled the appointment, not sure if that makes a difference. hope you get yours soon

Ah I just DQ'd March 21st! I guess we should be soon then hopefully 🙈

you have to call them every day and ask for cancellation that what i did and managed to get date 7 days before interview

Yeah I asked them to call me if they get a cancellation but unfortunately my work schedule is pretty set and not easy to change! 
luckily my interview landed on a day off anyway and got my medical for one too! Finger crossed no issues
