Help Visa expires just a month after issue

If you need more time then you'll need to stick around long enough to file an I-131 for a re-entry permit, do biometrics, (denote that you want the permit sent to a consulate or DHS office abroad on the I-131), and leave for up to 2 years.

Definitely file the I-131.  Starting your status as an LPR who spends more time outside the USA than inside the USA can cause problems when you return to the USA. Filing I-131 is strong evidence that you didn’t abandon your status.
