I received RFE to correct household size on Form I -864. I am sponsoring my fiancée on K1 visa whom I am already married ( now wife filing for AOS ) .  Previously, I put On Part 5.  3. enter "1" for your spouse (0).  Anyone check if my total household size is correct?

Actual total household should be 3 (Myself, wife and son) .

Item # 3 should be "0".  Items 2-7 are for people NOT sponsored in this I-864.  In addition, any person should be listed only once.  Your spouse is already listed in item #1.  

 

Should be:

Items 1,2,4 should be "1"....total household size should be 3

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Should be:

That's what I stated last time.  Part 5 . 2 . is confusing. I am currently married (spouse) and person I am sponsoring.

If your household consists of you, your spouse (whom you are sponsoring), and 1 dependent child, then that part of the I-864 is correct. 

 

Total household size is 3.

That RFE is a generic statement for an incorrect I-864.  The problem could be anywhere on the form.

Read the form.

1.  Do not list any person more than once on this form.

2.  Items 2 thru 7 are ONLY for people NOT sponsored by the form.

 

This question comes up frequently around here. Your household size should be 3

Reread what you just posted from the instructions. "Make sure you do not count any individual more than once"

Dunno what else they might have flagged. Is it possible you listed another dependent somewhere else like on your I130 or tax returns?
