Our case just got transfered to the California service center. With my local office being Boston does this mean that we will not have an interview or will it bounce from Cali to Boston? We are going to go back over to the motherland for Christmas, but have not filed for AP yet. If it doesn't get approved in a week and a half I might think of sending in the AP application to try to beat the higher new fee. Do I send the AP to CSC or to Boston?

You will likely not have an interview. Look here:

... also very unlikely that you'll get approved in the next week and a half! Best send off that I-131... :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Claudeth received her GC about a month after the petition was transferred to California. Don't count on this happening but it is a good possibility. I would recommend you prepare for an interview just in case and you might want to consider applying for advanced parole. It is a gamble either way so it would be up to you which will give you peace of mind.....waiting for the GC or ensuring you can go back for Christmas. Good luck
