Most likely USCIS will have refuse to give you a stamp until your extension letter expires. 
 

Why do you want a stamp?

USCIS will not stamp your passport if your extension letter is still valid, imo.  Besides, your extension letter expiration is later than would be a stamp.  Just carry the letter with your passport.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I’m curious to know how this turned out for you? I have flight attendant training coming up and planning to use my I-551 stamp. Did you have any issues?
