Yeah you’re right immigration they don’t care about the family situation they only care about paperwork watches God create us without paperwork,,,

it is not that they do not care

even in 2020 (with a low count)  they recd 7.7 million cases / that's a lot of people to be concerned with / they completed 7.6 that year

so,  they too,  just work thru the system with the rules and laws they have to follow

our wait from original k1 to final IR1 visa was 6 years

Well for me it is not but  I hope like you’re saying they’re working on it Because I have seen US Embassy in Manila they are busy with social media more than busy with the office check out Facebook Twitter, every minute they’re posting pictures they are hanging outside, if that situation  like that of course we’re  gonna wait more than 10 years

it is very  depression and stressful,

Brah, at this point, you just need to chill.

It's out of your hands.

I am in the same boat as you. Been waiting for an interview date for my wife since August 2020, but your venting ain't gonna do anything.

Just put your energy towards doing something more productive.

P.S. As of now, USEM is processing those DQed by July 2020. Your time will come, brah. Relax.

@Bochog Any updates on whether your wife was scheduled yet for an interview at USEM? My Filipino in-laws have two DQ'ed F2A cases since Nov 2020 with no scheduling yet from USEM as well.

Your screenshot from the USEM website in March shows "Most current family preference cases were documentarily complete in July 2020".

image.png.14fb636fd2612e4d6bc76ef039229257.png

The USEM website from the WayBack Archive on June 8 states "Most current family preference cases are approved expedite cases that were documentarily complete in January 2021."

If you were to visit the USEM website on October, it states "Most current family preference cases being scheduled are approved expedite cases and cases that were documentarily complete at National Visa Center in February 2020."

Looking at the difference in wording from March, June, and now October, my hypothesis is that the USEM actually did not process any F2A back in March or June. Based on the October verbiage- it sounds like F2A visas have only recently started to resume processing F2A, starting with the ones that were DQ'ed back on Feb 2020.

@muhammad sulayman Here is the month by month F2A issuance statistics that backup my point about F2A's not being processed by USEM before 2022 August https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html

For reference- pre-COVID and pre-Trump policies, USEM issued around 100 - 200 F2A visas every month.

Hopefully there is an uptick in the September F2A issuance soon.

Heard F2A and FX is one and the same. Don't know how or why but some people have explained it here on VJ, I just did not understand their explanation. 😆 So I just accepted this to be true to feel a little more optimistic.
