How Does Embassy Contact Beneficiary?

After two years of waiting, my fiance and I have finally received a message that our case is being forwarded to the Manila Embassy. As we are reviewing the next steps, the Visajourney K1 Flowchart https://www.visajourney.com/guides/k1-fiance-visa-flowchart/ states that a "Forms and Checklist" will be sent to the beneficiary. Does anyone know how this is sent? I'm wondering if I should let my fiance know to watch for a text, email, or mail.

Thank you

I know in our case, we received nothing from the Embassy.....

That's good to know. I guess we will start the process as soon as the embassy receives the case. Thanks

that flowchart is beyond obsolete.

Here is a link to the process

You will receive nothing from the embassy.

You will have to complete the DS - 160  https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-ds160info.asp

Pay the visa fee  https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp

Scheduling the interview is where things have not always been the same, some have been able to schedule the interview, others have said they had to wait for the embassy to schedule the interview (they will email the visa applicant this info).  If you can schedule your own interview, do remember to K-1 is processed as an IMMIGRANT VISA.  Verify your CEAC status before scheduling (or trying to schedule) it should read READY

The U.S. Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service Center hotlines are (+632) 8548-8223 and (+632) 7792-8988.   The call center is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the United States should call (703) 520-2235 on its Eastern Standard Time equivalent of operation hours.

Visa interview appointments can also be scheduled online here.

And of course come back here if you have further question.

My website has info, even though the beer virus has messed a few things up for the moment.  (see below)
