I don't think it was just Hunter that sought to cash in.  The "Big Guy" needed his cut as well.  And they impeached Trump for asking the Ukrainian President about this.  I guess those that voted for Biden are fine with political influence peddling by a sitting VeeP.  I expect Hunter is really cashing in now that Old Joe is President, heck, he made a fortune off his paintings.

Eventually, another of Hunter Biden's convicted business associates, John Galanis, would declare in a sworn affidavit to a federal court that he and his son Jason became aware of a strategy by Hunter Biden-related companies of promising oligarchs "quid pro quo" access to Washington in return for their dollars.

 

"Jason Galanis gave his interest in Burnham/Wealth Assurance to Archer on the prospect that Archer and Hunter Biden would continue to attract foreign oligarchs on the promise of high level political contacts," John Galanis swore in a January 2020 affidavit that unequivocally referred to the scheme as "political influence peddling."

Throwing Hunter Biden under the bus won’t be enough to clear Joe

 

Witnesses testifying before the Delaware grand jury are believed to have been asked if they know who is the “Big Guy” referred to in coded fashion in emails on Hunter’s abandoned laptop and in WhatsApp messages his former business partner Tony Bobulinski handed to the FBI in October 2020.

 

Bobulinski asserts that the “Big Guy” is Joe Biden.

 

The identity of the “Big Guy” is relevant because he was to be allocated 10% equity in a joint venture Hunter and partners were cooking up with Chinese company CEFC, according to an email on the laptop.

 

“Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing,” Bobulinski wrote in a letter to The Post in October 2020. “I’ve seen VP Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”

 

There is evidence on the laptop that Joe Biden profited from Hunter’s overseas business dealings, indicating mingled finances, shared bank accounts and household bills Hunter was expected to pay for his father.

The interesting thing is that the fact Hunter is/was a prolific drug user and Joe is in a state of cognitive decline will probably be used as a defense to protect old Joe.

Interesting.  I guess Ron Klain forgot about this when he threw Hunter under the bus on last weekend's Sunday shows.  So much for keeping it low key.

One group with ties to the Chinese Communist Party gave $65,000 a month to the president’s brother, James, atop $100,000 a month and a $500,000 retainer to Hunter. Biden’s son, boasting experience with crack pipes but not oil pipelines, somehow made $1 million a year from Burisma in Ukraine.

If the Hunter Biden Story Was ‘Irrelevant,’ Why Was It Censored?

 

Of course, if Hunter’s actions were irrelevant, why did virtually the entire media censor the story? Why did major newspapers spend thousands of words pretending to debunk the claims? Why did more than 50 former intelligence officials sign a letter casting doubt on its veracity of the reporting, giving the media additional justification to dismiss the revelations?

 

The New York Post had worked within the same ethical and journalistic guidelines that were used to uncover many of journalism’s most celebrated scoops. The Post used a higher standard of professionalism than did outlets that had been passing along the concocted conspiracies of Adam Schiff and State Department officials to gin up the Russia-collusion hysteria. The Post was upfront about how it came into possession of Hunter’s laptop, interviewed the owner of the Delaware computer shop where it had been abandoned, and offered pictures of Hunter’s signature on the receipt. The Daily Caller had Hunter’s emails authenticated by forensic specialists.
