What should the letter say exactly?

I Just sent a letter canceling my EAD biometrics, i know its not the same but i emclosed a copy of my NOA appoinment notice & wrote a letter explaining why i wanted to cancel!!

I sent an AOS withdrawl letter. It should include the following:

1. A-number

2. Receipt Number

3. Letter stating something to the effect of "I am submitting a request to withdraw my pending <type of AOS application> Adjustment of Status application.

4. Reason for the withdrawl.

Note that even though they received my withdrawl request, they did not withdraw my application. If you get a notice to appear after you send your withdrawl application, go to the interview and tell them that you're withdrawing. If you dont go, it may cause issues in the future..

Side note - keep in mind if you have an I-765 based on your pending AOS application, it will automatically be revoked if they accept your letter..

If you're the petitioner, you would have to send a letter to the Agency requesting that they withdraw your spouse's I-130. Once they do it and acknowledge it, all other forms will automatically follow.

But if you're the beneficiary, you could do one of these three things:

1. "abandon" your application by returning to your country without notification to the Agency

2. go to the nearest 'CIS office and voluntarily turn in all AOS forms, notifying them of your decision to return to your country

3. not show up at your AOS interview, whenever it is scheduled
