You have ALL the required forms, nothing is missing. Supporting documents should be ONE set only , they cover all the forms.

I have seen the exact opposite stated here many times.  These forms are processed at different locations.  I would have a complete set for the I-130, I-485, I-131, and I-765.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Wrong advice.

Forms are separated and go to different processing centers. For example, the I-765 goes to the NBC. Therefore, each form should have its own supporting documents.

Good catch

Agree, I included copies of supporting documents for each form. I did not want to receive an RFE for something as such, especially since the instructions require you to submit certain supporting documents for each form.

This is a DIY for Immigration and my advice is based on 15 years of filings at a high volume / low bono/ pro bono Accredited Non Profit and with immigration attorneys..nonetheless, here it is purely a non-legal “hands on “ suggestion . I suppose one could call on any number of practicing attorneys and simply ask if they file multiple supporting doc copies in a CP( combined process adjustment) to feel confident about the procedure.
I, too, am an immigrant…and l love DIYs.

And yet I’ve seen attorneys making horrible, rookie mistakes. If forms are processed at different processing centers, and if the instructions on each form call for certain documents, there is no point in not sending those documents with each form. It’s not like you’re saving a lot of $ in copies imho.

True that, Rocio0010, mistakes do happen. Going to the horses mouth.. USCIS has a “ Checklist of required Initial Documents for I-485..” and it lists “ A copy of xyz ..”. I appreciate everyone’s experience and thoughts and comments. Good luck and God Bless.

Not saying you’re wrong, but attaching neat completed packages avoids one area of potential error.

They’re all just copies.  For us every form we ever filed was filed with all required attachments for that form.
