DS-160 number does not match number on Appt. Confirmation?

Hello all, when I login to my account, I see this warning: "Attention: You will NOT be allowed to attend your visa interview and we cannot process your visa application if your DS-160 barcode number is different from the number on your Appointment Confirmation letter." However, my numbers do not match, and they are not even the same number of digits (and one is mostly letters, the other just numbers). Does this warning apply to K1 applicants? Or should I ignore it? Many thanks. Btw, does anyone know if it's possible to reschedule the interview before the original one has passed?

Do you also have a B visa application pending?
