Husbands interview in Montreal is on April 1st and we don’t have an updated police report. What to do?

So we got the interview email on March 14th saying his interview is on April 1st. That isn’t nearly enough time to get that police check from the RCMP. He went the same day to get his fingerprints done at the police station, and they told him it would be 3-4 weeks. They do not have an expedited system or anything. Should he reschedule the interview? Has anyone here rescheduled a huge interview like this. He can’t go to Montreal knowing he has an expired document. It’s almost 2 years old. Thanks for any help and advice!

Keep  the appointment / they are hard to get

the CO will put the case in AP while he /she waits for the new report

CEAC may say Refused but this is just AP while the case is processed so don't worry.
