Receipt of extension letter and biometrics

Hi everyone! I would just want to ask if anyone could share their experience on how long it took til they receoved their extension letter from the date of filing? And how long further were they asked for biometrics if you weren't waived? 

 

I was looking through the spreadsheet timeline and it didn't have these dates or headings. I am asking since I plan to go home to my home country before my GC expures but come back with it already expired (it expires on august 2022). So I was wondering on the dates I can receive the extension letter before travelling. I also wouldn't want to miss a biometrics appointment!

 

Any info would help!
