I was thinking the evidence was a bit scant also. I was hoping they stamped my passport, but they didn't. I flew in from Spain -- it wasn't international.

Not to be a stickler here, but Spain to the Netherlands seems international to me....am I missing something?

Nonetheless...you should listen to zyggy.....he has all the good answers :yes:

I think that within the EU, they don't stamp anymore. At least, when I traveled within Europe, I only received a passport stamp at my point of entry when I arrived from the US, but not from any of the other countries I flew to within Europe. That would explain why he doesn't have stamps proving that they were in the same place at the same time.
