Hello,

Anyone know how long to expect for IR5 if NVC DQ'ed in mid March 2022?

it is immigrant visa when granted

and each of them need their own petition

always mention what country this is for to get best answers

and follow the portal for that country and read embassy reviews

hit the word portal above in the blue line and find your country

so i asked NVC what is taking so long for my parents IR5 interview. they responded via email and said;

Due to covid, US embassies and consulates have cancelled all routine immigrant and non immigrant services but are providing limited visa services.

So we are screwed for now?

this is for turkey embassy

If you check this link you can look at IR5 visas issued out of Ankara since 2017. You can see when they resumed services to try to figure out how many months they might be behind? Currently they are processing IR5s though.

May 2022

Ankara IR5 111

April 2022

Ankara IR5 97

March 2022

Ankara IR5 93

 Maybe try to see what the DQ date is for people who've just received Interview letters so you know how long you have to wait...
