I've seen some people 5 months, other's 1.5 years.  It's really difficult to predict.

Well hopefully you’re closer to the shorter end! 😊

I'm thinking about should I submit joint sponsor's 2021 tax transcript. Latest submission date 26 March. I submitted 2021 tax return photocopy but I am not sure.. I saw a lot posts submitting under additional documents tab doesn't change time but I am still not sure. Seriously considering suggestions. Please help 🤔

I think if you upload under additional documents you won't change your submit date.  But none of us really know how the NVC works just guessing based on the experiences here.  I'd go for it.  Better than getting RFE.

I got DQ'd 1st June, submitted 23rd March.

Oh? I submitted on 22nd March but I submitted additional documents just last weekend. If I get nothing tomorrow then I'll just assume the additional documents sent me to the back of the line.

What is your earliest submission date of required documents?

If you submitted required documents first, additionals after and if it was on 23rd March, your main submission date not 23rd, it’s earlier.

I don’t understand your comment here. This person got DQ’d June 1st and they submitted March 23rd. According to NVC, this week, May 31st, they are reviewing documents submitted March 17. The timeline now have been going by 7-9 days weekly, so it could be accurate that the  first submission date was March 23

I know. I wanted to say nvc reviews all necessary documents on the first submission date. For example, if anyone submitted the required docs (first docs that he/she uploaded) on March 18th, and uploaded and submitted other docs until March 23th, NVC will review it in 18th March cases.

I wanted to ask this. Is 23th March the first submission date or last?

I used to think it has to be the last day you submitted a required document because why would they review an incomplete submission.  But, now I'm starting to agree it is probably the DS-260 date or the first submission date of documents.  Now I wish I would've submitted earlier.  I waited on one document and submitted everything at once.

Yes this is what I mean. So I submitted first ‘additional’ doc on 22th March, last ‘required’ doc on 27th March and last ‘additional’ on 1st June. We’ll see what happens. 🙃

Hi everyone

Just sharing an update

We submitted everything on the 22nd of March and got an RFE today sadly :(

All document show the status Accepted but in the messeges it says

Case FE Review note "Please submit every 2021 1099 form for my wife"

I'm not very knowledgeable with tax form and gonna have to look into it.

Over all sad day for us because we still have a year to get an interview in my home country

If you submitted a transcript … they want to see all W2s to match that transcript for that year, just to break down where you got all that money and from what coming and such.
