Did Warsaw send your beneficiary anything physical in the mail?

Hello! Question in title, thought to ask here as the Europe forum doesn't really talk much about Warsaw (unlike us). For those that have already gotten approvals from Warsaw, did your beneficiary receive anything in the mail, or were you only emailed instructions? The embassy's website is unclear, it talks about "sending a letter" to the applicant, but I know for many, 'Packet 3' is just instructions sent by e-mail. Warsaw's website also seems to make clear these are, indeed, just instructions, and nothing outside of what we already know by looking ahead. Thank you kindly!

Edit: Asking because my fiancee, like probably many of yours, has recently moved out of her country and I will need to change her address while in limbo at NVC. I'm nervous, though, as I don't like the idea of having a previous address on file that's non-accessible now in the event something gets accidentally sent out to the prior one.

They never sent any physical mail.  At least, not for Ukraine.  It has all been emails.

Thank you so much! So when your packet was sent from NVC, Warsaw just emailed you (the petitioner, I presume) a list of what was needed and how to schedule the interview? What a relief, thank you!

This is not going to be very helpful... I do not remember what she answered when I asked the WRW embassy employee about email/snail mail. I suggest contacting the embassy at +48 22 307 1361 (then press 2...3....2....4....5    to get to a person). The documents can also be delivered from Minsk to Warsaw via a variety of ways. Not the best case scenario but possible. That is if the snail mail is used.

There are also two places where the address is provided by the applicant: ustraveldocs site and the CEAC when filling up DS-160. We put Warsaw address in both (for mailing) and picked the option to pick up passport from the location in Warsaw instead of having it mailed.

At this time I will not update anything else with NVC and will check with the embassy once they receive the package. But that is just me.

Thank you! Did you receive any instructions from the embassy by email, perhaps? It seems like that might be the only thing actually sent from here on out. Warsaw's website appears to literally have gotten updated in the last few days with that language about "sending a letter." They suggest the process is, simply, (1) I-129F approval, (2) NVC, (3) "letter" (which just contains instructions on how to sign up for medical, what to bring generically, and how to schedule the interview), and (4) interview. If you've already managed to get into the CEAC, I can't imagine anything physical would need to be sent.

And yes, calling the USA Travel Docs is a great idea! Unfortunately our account is registered to Romania (long story lol), so I'll need to call them anyway to change it. Thanks again! Hopefully if you don't remember her answer, there was nothing to be sent at all :)

Just to clarify: I called the US embassy in Warsaw - I wanted to get information from the source. I am not sure if this this is the same as calling Travel Docs.

I do not think there will be an issue with your documents. For example, we were able to schedule interview prior to getting any "letter" (but there is a high probability we will have to reschedule).

Why do you say reschedule, if you don't mind me asking? I recall you saying that the earliest availability was in July. Do you think this was because the earlier dates were blocked out for refugees, for instance, and you would reschedule earlier?

Also question - were you able to schedule the interview the same day you received your numbers from NVC? 😮

We scheduled for April (there were two slots left) and are not confident the paperwork can make it in time - might have to reschedule to a later date.

You can schedule after you complete the profile on TravelDocs and pay the $265 fee. Since it does not take very long, you can, technically, get the numbers from NVC, complete the profile, pay, and schedule - all on the same day.

Awesome, thank you so much! I will work tomorrow, then, on updating the TravelDocs information and seeing if NVC has any new information for me. Did you already manage to complete medical? That seems to be another bottleneck for us, as we have pretty much everything ready to go for an interview but that.
