Mental issues history

I'm glad there's a group for helping each other, thank you everyone in advanced.

I'm currently in CR1(almost becomes IR1) process, here's the problem I met and don't know how to solve:

1. I have insomnia(not sure it reaches DSM), I had a med which was prescribed in my home country

2. I stopped taking the med like 1 month ago because of my pregnancy, but I still filled the med on a form when I took the medical checkup(in Jan). The consultant in visa medical(London) told me I need to provide either a letter from previous doctor or a GP letter(UK, because I live in UK now), I provided a GP letter from my UK GP says "I was prescribed with xx med in my home country. No evidence shows I have psychosis or other mental disorder." but the senior physician wasn't satisfied which the letter from UK GP,  the letter from doctor in home country is required.

3. The difficulty is: the med is only prescribed for significant mental disorder in UK, but it is indeed prescribed for insomnia in my home country(only very low dose), but the doctor in my home country refused me about the letter  very rudely, said it is not his responsibility. I assume that just different medical systems in different countries. I asked a lot of my friends who live in my home country, they do not think the "letter" exists in my home country.

4.I have a latest medical record on one of the previous online medical platforms(kind of like e-consulting in UK), with diagnosis "insomnia" and the doctor's name, and it says I was quitting the med because of pregnancy.

I found the mental issue history mainly asked in K1 group, and found out that the main problem is "if I have harmful behavior" or "who pay for the problem if I need med in the future".

So, I'm worried about the influence of the situation, and the potential future that my baby(due on middle of July) can't see his dad through his childhood.

Anyone has any suggestion? And I probably submit the latest medical record from Nov last year.

"The letter" they are looking for will only exist when your doctor writes it.  It would  be a unique letter for your specific case, not a form letter.  Perhaps the doctor wishes a fee for an office visit, before writing the letter.

Thank you for the response. You are probably right, the most possible way is "in person" .

Here's some of my silly concern:

Maybe I didn't explain very clearly, basically there's no an individual doctor is willing to write a letter with claim "Someone used to visited and diagnosed for some reason, and has been taking xx med for the diagnosed reason" to a single previous patient, at least in the area or the city I used to live in, and the hospitals don't have the official responsibility to "prove" anything for past. I asked my friends who work in the hospitals or medical field in the city, their answers were "very unlikely to get a letter". The most possible thing is I visit in person and get a new diagnosis, which I already got in UK. So far it feels like a dead end for me.

I did pay a fee, but he still refused, probably I have to visit the hospital in person(however it's not guaranteed), which seems not practical: 1. I'm almost on my third trimester of pregnancy ; 2. the cost of returning to my home country  is around 5000 pounds, also some covid-related policy which takes the "returning trip" up to 1-2 months for quarantine(since my country is still locked down) probably even without prenatal care. OMG so I don't feel I can take the risk of "not guaranteed&average 1 month quarantine without prenatal care& more than 5000 pounds traveling cost)

So hopefully the previous medical record works, or I can take an evaluation if the visa medial offers me :)

The "letter" they are looking for could ONLY come from the actual specific doctor that made the diagnosis and prescribed the medication.
