 i was able to send money to my stepdaughter and she picked it up in Zaporizhzhia in USD. it also may depend on the region and how much foreign currency they have in stock as well.

What the US should actually fear is maybe people moving away from USD towards other currencies, because people will still exist and want to buy/sell things. If they can't get USD, they'll just move on to something else that facilitates trade.

some people already are moving to things like Bitcoin. i dont think it will be too long until it becomes a sort of standard for a worldwide reserve currency, except for china because they seem to think people will want the digital yuan 🤣
