So I'm reading the sample questions that are listed in the AOS section of the forum:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ge=exampleq#aos

...and what do I see:

"Did you or your spouse take a shower?"

:unsure::blink::o:angry::wacko:

believe some are even worst than that. like i heard one question was were you still a virgin before you married your husband?:angry::wacko:

but i think they have to be blunt, see whose faking and whose not about their relationship. in weird freeking way  if we can sue them, i bet a lot of us will be lining up at the USCIS lol

I heard worse! Much more intimate questions that a friends sister had to answer. They flat out asked what is the favorite underwear color of his wife. When was the last time they were intimate.

I guess USCIS is trying to get to the bottom to see if you really live with each other. Its horrible that they violate normal human decency in some of the questions they ask.

Perhaps the wording of the question was wrong. Perhaps the question has to do with "Wedding Shower" a party held for the bride a few weeks or months before the Wedding.

Eh, I'd be happy to show them "pictures" if they just granted me an approval without putting me through the wringer! They can't keep it though, they'd have to hand it right back. :P

If you read it in the context of the surrounding questions, it makes more sense....

Who woke up first this morning? Did an alarm clock go off?

Did you or your spouse take a shower?

Did you come to the interview together? Who drove?

Did you have breakfast? Where and what did you eat?

Funny how when put back into context it is no longer offensive. I guess that's the way it is with just about everything though.

But I'm with Leney. I'm a smarta$$ so I'd really have to keep my mouth shut on that one :)

I'm actually LMAO! If I were asked that question, I would have said something silly just because it's a silly question.

I had my interview on Wednesday and I was not asked anything! She only asked if I met my husband's parents and if my husband met my mom .... and if my mom liked him. We definitely were not asked any of that stuff listed on that page.

aye, context is everything.

I find it interesting that because those questions may be asked of us(gasp! not us!), they are offensive, yet the very personnel that interview us get their arses handed to them on a platter when they are deemed not to be doing their jobs in keeping visa fraud from happening. Between a rock and a hard place, methinks.

LOL, I would have had to be a smart ### too. I probably would have said No, you know us people in Germany don't shower! <--------- people are seriously under that misconception. They also think that we don't shave. LOL
