Expedite request for K1

Our I-130F was approved June 1st 2021 and because it is Manila Embassy backlog was ridiculous.. they are still processing June 2020 so our paper is still stuck in NVC, I’m the petitioner and my father passed away in November 2021, I’ve been seeing doctors for my depression and anxiety as part of my grieving process and on top of that, being away from my fiance took a huge toll on me mentally and emotionally … Not sure if this is a good reason to expedite our case so it can be sent to the embassy in Manila. I’m taking alot of anti-depresant medication, to deal with my anxiety and depression…

my doctor are willing to advocate for me and willing to write a letter to testify that my condition are getting worsened.. but what would be a specific verbiage that would provide a stronger case..?

your thoughts and suggestions is greatly appreciated

u can always try/ anyone can

How will this help your depression from loosing your father?

address that in your request

because of covid,  i imagine many petitioners have lost loved ones and are grieving

and if the dr statement suggests thoughts of self harm,  expect it not to be approved

officers have to also think of the intending immigrant and how this affects them

she is not your nurse maid

Say the truth in your request, request nicely, attach your supporting documents.
Just know that there is lot of waiting, monitoring in USEM when your expedite is approved.  You or your fiance will have to constantly watch available interview slots and book for your own and time it with your medical.  NVC usually assign you the Interview Date (gives you a month for you to do medical).  But when you expedite, you forego that.  You will be ahead of those in NVC, but you will have to do the work for scheduling and a lot of patience required.  I for example, I have been monitoring for a week now, no slots had appeared yet CR1.  Some people's experience, they have been monitoring for weeks/months.
