I'm not a big TV news watcher, mostly just a news reader, and I was not aware of the "cackling Kamala" phenomenon until just recently. I'm actually super confused, is this some kind of weird involuntary Tourrete's Syndrome or something? She's a public figure and has been for years, you'd think being able to answer serious questions with a straight face is the bare minimum job a politician should be capable of. 🤷‍♀️

I classify it as a nervous tick by someone that is lost in what to say or has no idea (probably both with Kamala).  It is really nerve wracking hearing it, I don't watch television news either, but I do enjoy talk radio, Markley, VanCamp and Robbins being one of my favorite shows.  They love to play clips of our esteemed VeeP.

With the growth of high tech, and that industry known for introverts, the result is that voters in the SF  Bay Area identify with politicians who are bad in front of cameras.  
 

When they graduate to state wide contests, these  politicians exploit the jungle primary to make sure they face a Republican in the run off (it’s just a math problem which propeller heads are good at that), and then it’s a blow out.
