Hi,

I have a flight booked for June 2022 and i know that travel restrictions are still in effect to enter the united states. I have two questions regarding this

1) does anyone with experience know if they accept "SARS COVID Antigen Test" or do they only accept "SARS COVID PCR Nasal Swab" or do they also accept at home tests?

the airlines I'm going to be using is American airlines if that makes any difference in protocols.

Both tests are accepted.

Tele health  proctored home tests are accepted.

As you are flying on AA you will want to download the VeriFLY app for processing your Covid test and vaccination records

I guess i can follow up with the same kind of question ( sort of ) . I will be leaving next week to see my fiance. But i will be flying on delta airlines. Now i could surrender and pay the $50.00 to take the test there.

But i have a test that the US government send me.( They send out free tests) I wonder if i can use that to reenter the states..TIA

If the  tests have a tele health proctor option yes you can use those to enter the USA.

Thank you.. I will check when i get home..

This test is not suitable. It has no option to be tele-health proctored . Rapid tests with this option can be purchased online if you have time /capacity to get it deliveted
