info about beneficiary

When filling out the i-130 on the page that says 'information about beneficiary in their native written language.'

Can this be typed or does it have to be written in pen?

Can be written in pen.  
 

Some people write it on separate paper, capture it as a digital image, and then paste the image into the PDF.

Can EITHER be typed or written in pen if filing by mail.  Note this is when the native written language does not use the ABC's, such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian etc.  Not for Spanish or French etc.
