Hmm. Interesting stereotype. I have to say that it seems you're really hanging out with the wrong set of Americans, because it sure isn't my experience with the people of the United States (and I've lived here all my life.)

It's just that, a stereotype. It doesn't have to be true to be perceived that way.

Ask someone in Europe to describe an American. Some might say friendly and welcoming, but

the majority would say rich, dumb, loud, arrogant, religiously backwards and sexually repressed.

Well what you expect when they watch Dynasty, Dallas, the OC and other ####### and take that as gospel? Who says that TV teaches people nothing! HAH!

Your life experience is hardly typical or representative of the average American. How many

Americans do you know that have travelled to the West Bank, let alone married a Palestinian?

I was speaking of my experience with Americans, not Palestinians (which is still rather a bit more than your experience with either.)

Well aren't you an arrogant little snob. You know sweet f*all about my experience with

Americans or Palestinians, so please keep your far-reaching conclusions to yourself.

LOL.

YOU'RE the one making ridiculous, ignorant, stereotyped remarks about Americans, so who's the "arrogant little snob" here ?

I was born and raised and educated in the U.S. Were you ? I've lived all my life in the U.S. Have you ? To say that I have more experience with Americans than you do is not "far-reaching," but rather a fact. Get over it.

I was born and raised and educated in the U.S. ... I've lived all my life in the U.S.

And I could have sworn you mentioned at some point that you are from Texas...

No dear. I "live" in Texas. I was born in Ohio, lived there and in various other states including California, Illinois and Virginia during my formative years, and moved to Texas in my adulthood.

Any other questions ?

Well, as long as you were born and raised and educated between Mexico and Canada yet outside of TX, then your earlier statement seems to hold up. Besides, I was just poking some fun at Texas... ;)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
