I got it. I guess if they don’t accept it they might ask me to bring certified copy to the interview. The thing is when I went to the courthouse here in North Carolina to get my divorce decree, they only gave me a photocopy. At that time I didn’t know you can get a certified copy. I just recently realized you can get a certified copy and went to get it. But I already submitted the scan of the simple photocopy to NVC. Finger crossed they accept it.

USCIS would have required a certified copy.  I suspect what you have IS one, but you don't know it.  Sometimes it's just a small stamp in a corner.  Sometimes it's a red stamp near the top that says "Filed" and a date.

Exactly. You are right. There is a stamp that said “Filed” and date. But not in red because I have the photocopy.

Then it's a certified copy.  Relax.

I got 221G today beacuse they need my husband attested orignal divorce certificate

Wow really? What is 221G by the way. A scanned of the photocopy of my divorce decree was approved at NVC stage but I am thinking about sending the original to my wife for the interview.

We also send the scan copy at NVC and it was approved but at interview they asked for orignal divorce papers for both husband and wife. Therefore better to take it with you.

also the interviewer wants originals whether its an embassy or US office interview

The word "attested" indicates you are talking about something other than a document from the a State in the United States.  Expect your post to be separated into its own thread, but please indicate the country, and whether your husband is the petitioner or beneficiary/visa applicant.
