He called the embassy and they said they’re going to do further investigation as to how and who canceled his interview

not sure how he was able to talk to anyone at the US Ghana embassy when most just get a computer response to send an email 

 

your friend needs to check his visa status on the CEAC site i posted

and see if his has been denied or it says anything else

When he checked on the CEAC website, it shows NO STATUS
