3PFs. No RFE. Applied without a lawyer. i485 has also been transferred so that wait has started but for now, I am grateful. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Congrats! Did your i485 transfer immediately after you received the notice of the new card being produced? Where is your local field office?

Thanks. Yes, I got both emails back to back. Currently in the DMV area but I graduate this week and i'm moving to the midwest soon so still weighing the pros and cons of changing my address now.

Great! I would advise you not to change your address now as that may delay the entire process. Congratulations once again.

Congratulations for your approval. 🍁🍁🍁👏👏👏

Sorry for re asking the same question.

Are you saying that immediately after the card production approval notice, you also recieved the notification that your Form I-485 has been transferred from Vermont to NBC?

(from Vermont to your local office)?

I know but i may not have a choice. I am starting residency soon in the midwest and we don't usually get enough time to travel so i am worried about not being able to get time off to come back for an interview that far away but i hear you, i don't want to touch anything about this application at this point. right now, i intend to leave it as is and figure out the rest later.

That is correct. Literally came 1 minute after. Not sure where it was sent though at this point because the email just said another office.

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: EA*****

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On May 17, 2022, we transferred your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number EAC***, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice.

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: Togo

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask how long did you get notice for I-485 interview after I-360 approved? I submit I-360 and I-480 same time.

thank you.

Nobody knows. Some people get it within 6 months, some have their interviews waived, some wait for 1-2 years or more. I suggest that you contact your congressman and ask them to inquire on your 485. My case was “lost” in NBC for 6 mo until I inquired.

What do you mean by lost?

Did you apply together with VAWA or you put it on hold?

Applied concurrently, never put my previous 485 hold.

I call it ‘lost” lol, basically it was sitting there until my congressman inquired. Then they immediately transferred it to the local office and asked to contact them again if I don’t get an RFE or interview notice within the next few months.

lol

Thank you for clarification. I almost got panic because it's been 2 months my VAWA is approved and i have not heard anything about my i-485. I have put it on hold. Therefore, i thought mine is lost as well.

Oops, I wasn’t trying to scare anyone with the “lost” part, it’s just a figure of speech😂

inquire with your congressman if you think this will give you some peace of mind. Or maybe just forget about 485 for a little bit and see what happens, * I wish I could hehe
