Yeah, it can happen.

But it still exceptional.

I left one of those platform because I realized many people were lying concerning their cases submission dates. Making some filers to be more frustrated and feeling that Vermont was adjudicating cases ahead of older ones.

Some where even having their WAWA adjudicated in less than 6 months.

Most where simply fake data.

Majority of cases are no less than 18 months.

Uscis is now adjudicating March 2020 wawa filers.

So, the immigration officer has to defend himself before his supervisor why he has to adjudicate a May 2021filer as they are currently working on cases filed around March 2020.

Sometimes people lied about their real data entry.

Most people were getting frustrated on that platform. So I left and remained on this visajourney  for being more efficient and very helpful.

Agree with that. Plus i think that person posted that she expedited because she is going trough some serious health issues. She used attorney.

VAWA can be expedited, this is true data and mentioned through the person that she has some life threatening situation thats why  they approved her petition. Few people did get approved less than a year or little over a year. It really depend on case to case basis. We cannot overwhelm ourselves with what we see except just pray to get approvad.

Yeah.

That's why I used to expression "exceptional "

It's also better at times, to mention the expeditious side of the case.

So, people will understand more clearly how the process is being reviewed by the agency in Vermont.

I am not sure if you can renew your driver license with extension. But it does not hurt by trying. Go to your DMV and let them know your situation.

Yes you can travel as long your AP is valid.

Thank you for your advice.

I dont have friends, I am here only 1 year and all my classmates were international students. I am not going to ask my husbands' friends and our neighbours because i dont want him to know where i am or even my new phone number, i wasn't at all close to them anyway. Is it possible that someone can feel charitable enough to sponsor me, where can i find such a person? haha

I believe that you are confused about how the adjustment of status works. In  case of separation from your spouse  you cannot find a sponsor and pretend that you are living together with your spouse. In order to file a VAWA, you must prove abuse, and you do not need a sponsor or to adjust your status based on marriage, and you must live with your spouse.

DO NOT WAIT for your green card to deal with the derivative children on your approved I-360.

Your attorney should have advised you of that last February when I-360 was approved and filed the I-824 for the children.

The good thing is that they will not age out , so just get to filing I-824 . https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-a-chapter-7

Thank you very much. Very helpful. So children ages are frozen at the time i360 was filed and they must be under 21 and unmarried at the time i360 was filed and onwards, thank you

That’s an odd inner working between EOIR and USCIS that often ends up with cases stuck in a “ Black Hole “ for some time….as @Pensjust went through that.
Get a complete copy of your file from your attorney. Prepare a copy of the I-485 form, Copy of Approved I-360 ,  Order of Term from Immigration Judge , do a new I -864 W and send a Letter to Field Office Director ( by name) that says “ Supplemental Filing to I-485 xyz and Request for USCIS Adjustment Processing “ . ..packet may be rejected.

Get InfoPass ( phone or interactive USCIS) appointment and go in person carrying a copy of what you sent..basically you try in the NICEST way possible to have the local office request/ call for your file and or have them tell you where it it is so you can do the “  supplemental filing “ ( which is not needed, just serves to get some action on your case).

Thank you, my lawyer sent uscis a letter yesterday requesting for i485 interview just to know what they will say. I will talk with my lawyer about this as well. Thank you
