Thank you. Can you tell me all the documents that I need pls?

I sent you everything that you need to do for I-824 in an earlier thread.  Do not ignore the requirements or your case will receive RFE.  Originals on your children's birth certificates or you will have to submit original copies at Consular interview.

Thank you, It was Vermont Service Center. I haven't heard from my field office until they sent me the interview notice.

The interview was going through the I-485 form only.

I Hope for everyone good news 🙏🙏🙏

We have similar timelines from 2018. Just wanna encourage you to hang in there, keep renewing your EAD and keep yourself occupied. 😊 Last week, I counted 5 EADs and shook my head. My case was approved last year. Yours is next. 🙏🏾 … Have you contacted USCIS for a status update?

Hey vj family. I was in immigration proceedings. My vawa got approved last February. My lawyer filed to terminate the proceedings 2 weeks ago and received a decision from the judge that proceedings terminated completely.
My i485 was pending with court. Will the court sent it back automatically to USCIS for processing? Also my first daughter is turning 21 this year. Anyone knows how USCIS age get calculated? Do we minus the years the i360 was pending from the actual ages of kids? Lastly how to make my kids come on humanitarian parole?

Hello dear friends, I came to my country 15 days ago for my father's cancer treatment and I will return to America in 2 weeks. I have I-360 file pending and got RFE request email today.  I have an valid Employment Authorization and Travel Card so Combo Card ( SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE) and it is valid until September 2023. My questions is,

-) Will I have any problem re-entering the USA with my valid Advance Parole card ? Because USCIS asked for RFE and I will fill it in 15 days.

-) What is the response time for RFE? So how long do I have to send the RFE document? I've read that according to the new announcements, USCIS give us 60 days extra time.

Please help me and I feel so bad from stress.  While my father's treatment is still going on, the extra stress is overwhelming.  Thank you

Hello Fam

I filed an I-824 action on an approved petition for my file to be transferred to the NVC because I didn’t choose consular processing when I initially filed the i360 and I choose to adjust status in California.

ive done my biometrics back when I was still residing in California because I was going to file i485 and adjust status in the US. But since I had to depart the states, now I have to have my file transferred to the NVC and I didn’t submit i485 while residing in California and waiting for the i360 (the i824 receipt notice states that USCIS will contact me if they need biometrics)

when I mailed the i824 to the Az lockbox, I was thinking that they will send my case to California since it was my local office and I was happy because California processing time for i824 is only 3 months but, unfortunately, my i824 ended up in Vermont.

why did my request go to Vermont instead of California? Is it because my file is still in Vermont and haven’t been transferred to a local office yet? Does anyone have any idea?

if my file is still in Vermont, does this mean it will have a faster transfer to the NVC? Vermont processing time for 824 is 11 months.

I’m going to inquire with my congressperson after 90 days, but is there any way I can make this process go by faster like contacting a tier 2 agent or something? Since I have no dependents and I’ve already done the biometrics and all my documents are ready and the i360 has been reviewed and approved by USCIS

In addition, does anyone know if they will require me to do another biometrics here at the US embassy in the country of origin or the biometrics I have already done in the US will suffice?

any insight is appropriated and will be helpful.. thank you

No you will not have any problem unless you have a criminal history or in removal proceedings.

It is a RFE not a decision. Usually they give 90 days to response to RFE

There is no such process for what you are asking.  Your kids names have to be on your approved I-360 and on your I-485 application, and once your GC is issued you will then file I-824.

Once you filed VAWA, any and all petitions you file go to Vermont.  You are considered a protected case.
