Hi VJ Family,

I just got my 131 approval notice for travel document. It has my passport picture on it, but am wondering if it’s safe to travel with the AP since my i1360 is still pending.
I filed i360 oct 2020.

got 2 prima facie

and 2 years EAD C9

please I need advice if it’s safe enough travel with AP while i360 is still pending. Thanks 🙏

Yeah what balo said. I will also add that you should be mindful of any covid related travel restrictions, so keep your shots up to date.

Also, I do not recommend to travel if you got an RFE on your I-360 because at that point the next thing that comes is most likely the decision and getting denied while abroad would leave you stranded.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Thanks @demise i don’t have any rfe or criminal history, might likely just wait till I get approved, my lawyer said traveling isn’t the best option until a decision is made. Am praying for a positive response.

request one more congressman ?

my lawyer saying they might send bio metrics but I did already with 485(765) application .

I will try to send a request one more time. My lawyer said there is nothing we can do from this point &  just keep waiting for the background check to complete… I have been waiting since Dec 2020 tho! :(

Hello dear friends

today was my hearing ( removal proceeding) and my attorney yesterday called me and said that I don’t need to attend due to pandemic so judge decided to make hearing video conference format. I have also pending vawa. My attorney told me she is going to ask to judge about termination if judge decided then we can apply 485 if not we have to wait approval letter but your hearing will be expand to further date. And then I didn’t hear nothing from my attorney . I’m so worried about it . I checked online and I found it that . What does it mean ? Help pls

Yayy 🥳🥳🥳🥳

I am coming to this forum since 2019 and I remember how we all used to discuss about prima facie, ead extensions and renewals, interviews etc and we all were nervous, afraid about our future in America and now see, almost everyone I talked to received their gc and on their way to citizenship including myself !! God bless everyone in this holiest month of Ramadan.

Yee-HAAAAA!

[Note to T-B.'s self:  Joke worked again...]

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Nothing just she didnot respond my text.

Looks to me like the judge administratively closed the proceedings, basically case gets taken off the docket, it just sits around with no future hearings scheduled. Probably the best that can be done without an I-360 approval.

I am not sure if you can file I-485 with the court while the proceedings are closed.

I could also be wrong and it could be a dismissal.

Basically call your lawyer.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Time line-applied on Jan 2020 no rfe.

April 27th 2022-new card being produced & April 28th 2022- case as been approved.

I did not get any notifications for card has been picked up by USPS or the tracking number.

Is it safe if I travel to my home country using my travel permit?
