Hello VAWA family,

I'm wondering if these updates for my I-131 mean anything:

04/28/2022 - My case status changed from 'fees were waived' to 'case was updated to show fingerprints were taken'

04/27/2022

On April 27, 2022, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1XXXXXXXX was completed.

04/27/2022

On April 27, 2022, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1XXXXXXXX.

04/27/2022

On April 27, 2022, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1XXXXXXXXX, was assigned to an officer for response.

Thank you

have you opened a service request or anyone requested on your behalf to expedite your i-131?

If yes then they completed the service request and send you a response. there are 2 options.

1. either they requested more evidence from you.

2. they might have denied your request.

Let's wait for response to receive.

To all

Does anyone know when you receive interview notice or medical request where does it come from? meaning that notice come from Vermont, NBC or local field office?

Your medical missing notice comes from NBC.  Your interview letter and RFE for medical submission comes from local office.

Yes I opened a service request to expedite with an agent 8 days ago. I will wait and provide an update once I receive something. Thank you

Just received an email from the paralegal at my attorneys office. They are asking me to pay $2500 to schedule an infopass appointment with an attorney in attendance.

@sandranj can you offer any advice on this matter please?

You do not qualify for an I-551 stamp, you have not been issued a Green Card.  Waste of time as you will be turned away with nothing and gave your attorney 2500.00

Your expedite was most likely denied, or they are sending you the generic, you have a protected file and write to Vermont for information on this petition.  How can you request an expedite and do no have a valid passport.

Yeah I’m not sure how they would know I don’t have a valid passport currently as they didn’t ask me to provide one. Either way will provide update once I receive a letter

I'm still not sure about this. I'm going to call my lawyer tomorrow and see what he says. I will post here when I find out. I was only speaking to the paralegal on the case, and I was not informed what particular stamp I would need.

Hey! Hope all is well! Do you have any update on this? Thank you!

For other people that might know:

I've recently renewed my passport and have an AP issued based on the application that has old passport data. Is it a problem? What shall I do? I am planning to travel in a few weeks.

I received my congress request too last month, and I had the same response from USCIS.  “USCIS is unable to render a decision on the application until certain issues are resolved. USCIS is striving to resolve these issues as soon as possible. We are unable to determine at this time when the background checks for the application will be completed.

What is ur next plan? you will

request one more congressman ?

my lawyer saying they might send bio metrics but I did already with 485(765) application .

no there is not going to be any problem. just travel and keep the old passport with you once you land in your home country they might ask you for your old passport.

Hi VJ Family,

I just got my 131 approval notice for travel document. It has my passport picture on it, but am wondering if it’s safe to travel with the AP since my i1360 is still pending.
I filed i360 oct 2020.

got 2 prima facie

and 2 years EAD C9

please I need advice if it’s safe enough travel with AP while i360 is still pending. Thanks 🙏

Yes it is safe to travel as long as you don't have any criminal history and you are not in removal proceedings.
