Applied for renew May 2021. So it’s almost been a year! That’s why I’m excited I can finally travel. 
 

My I-360 status is fees were waived. Applied Sept 2020. :)

CASE APPROVED!!! more than 2 years of anguish and waiting, now my case has finally been approved. I am a Jan 2020 filer, no RFE, 3 PF, please do not lose hope!!! It's happening for all of us!!

VAWA approved people usually do not get interview for i-485. If there are major issues like entry without inspection, crimes etc they still might interview, but usually it's waived. Next step for you is to wait for the medical deficiency notice or RFE for medicals. Do not get medicals done until then, If you send medicals now they will just lose it. Once they ask for medicals and you then send medical, green card is approved within a few weeks to 2 months after that. I have seen people on this forum get their green card anywhere between 4 months to 3 years after I360 approval. Usual processing time is 6 to 12 months after i360 approval. Wow, I appreciate this information. Thank you so much. You have given me more information than my own attorney. Praying that it will come soon as I would love to visit my mother and father who I haven’t seen i years!!! I pray that we all get approvals soon. Amen!

I have ead card too and my i360 is still pending. I won 2 trips to Mexico. Cabo and cancun. I am one of the

top performer and those trips are all inclusive…. I really want to go but my lawyer thinks that it could be risky when I come back to the States. Please give me some more info guys. Should I go or not?:(

At this point I haven’t traveled in so long I’m willing to go to that 2nd security room, be stressed out and come out. I think they should let you in, maybe not without stress but they should. But others pitch in please

Would appreciate any thoughts on I-485 status:

 

* Filed I-360 and I-485 concurrently in Feb 2018

* I-360 approved Feb 2020

* Received RFE for I-485 requesting my birth certificate in April 2020

 

I have heard nothing ever since. Case status is stuck at "We received your correspondence and are reviewing it". It's been 2 years now, no response from congressperson either.

 

Any thoughts? Thanks.

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

As long you have valid AP, and you are not criminal or in removal proceedings then you can travel. Many of us did. I traveled more than many times. The secondary inspection took no more than 5 mins each time.

Paper problem hmmm ,sometimes just dnt think about it ,just do the needful ,to get green card can run you crazy if you are not strong ..you just have to keep pressing hard !! It’s not an easy journey ,one needs to be very patient and keep contacting your Congress person so they can come in and know what’s really happening ..my own lawyer lost my ead renewal receipt 🧾..but I believe everything will be fine ,just be patient and put everything to God ,dnt stress too much ,always remember that at the end everything is vanity !! Nobody is leaving this world with green card or USA passport ..so use that to ease your mind till you get your green card ..I just felt to drop message of hope to you cause that’s how I encouraged  @God is a good God and now he has been approved ..just keep the faith and positive spirit ..and keep pushing hard and contacting the right people you  suppose to contact ..Everything will be alright !!

Nope I’m not. But as we all know we struggle a lot and it was painful. I just don’t want to risk all our sacrifices, hard work and the pain we went through. When I brought it up to my lawyer, she does not recommend for me to travel without a valid green card. Thanks family

If I had  filed an adjustment status form for my daughter after her 360 approval will she have her own receipt number on the i485. Because I only see an update for my i485 but nothing about hers. @Stillwinning!!!😊 @Family
