Thanks. Do I have to send it through my lawyer even though on uscis record my mailing address is my lawyer's office.  Can I mail it on my own to uscis or via congressperson?

That's good.

Going forward try to do renewal by yourself. It's pretty straight forward plus it is quicker and just put your address.

Can I send another renewal again ? You know I already sent one ,can I send another renewal form and put my address ..you know the uscis already sent receipt that we dnt know where it is now ,so can I send another renewal form for another card

Yes you can but mostly people do not recommend because this might slow down the process. I would say wait until you get a response from USCIS since your attorney already sent the request.

How do you know where your i485 is located? I had one from 2018 and it was just updated last week to show fingerprints was taken from November 2018.

It was update exactly time my i360 was approved,is it still at Vermont or will it be transferred to my field office.

I know Vermont also processes i485.

Thank for any information or correction on this.

Should I try to get the case transferred to Vermont? Should I just request to expedite with NBC? Alone

For the I-131 expedite , you should make an InfoPass to local Field Office. Carry with you Doctors Letter Re your Dad’s medical condition ( no issue they he is Stepfather), an itinerary or travel booking…

Since combo cards are going away,  and neither loss of job / nor being blocked from a new one will be considered as meeting expedite criteria,  everyone on VJ forum seems to appeal to Congressional Liason …but it’s worth asking at the Info Pass if they can help…

Yes let’s wait and see what the uscis will say ,I already have the case status tracking number ,I think that’s what I should be looking forward to more ,once I see the usps tracking I will just be following up to know where the card is cuz I dnt trust all these lawyers ,it’s not their life so they can’t take it serious like you ..if my work place ask for receipt I will just give them the message they sent to me from uscis ,they will accept that with the tracking number they will know my case is still pending and am waiting for the card

yup. I do not trust these lawyers. at one point they kept my EAD renewal file and forget to send it.

Do you have receipt number for the application?

If you have previously appeared for an in person interview ( and meet a few other criteria)  w USCIS, then your I-485 can be processed/approved without an interview, without a transfer….. otherwise your case is being sent to your local field office and you will be scheduled.
