That's your answer, then! :)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I just received the mail

8D0A2AA7-6318-435A-887B-263AA22D8493.jpeg

Deficiency letter for medical.

Just wait until you receive another instruction, whether to appear for an interview or to submit the medical through a mailing address if the interview has been waived.

Out of curiosity, do you think I can get my i-360 approved and have my I-485 (currently held in abeyance) approved all before the 2024 election cycle? Or at least by January 2025?

i submitted my I-130 and I-485 Dec 2020

Abeyance request for I-485 submitted and received on Nov 2021

i-360 was also submitted and received on Nov 2021.

currently on C09 from my initial I-765 when filed I-485 that is set to expire august 2023. Can I submit for renewal in February 2023?

have one prima facie on hand since April 2022

@sandranj @Demise @TBoneTX

Hello! You and I have a similar case and timeline. Can you let me know that did you attend your interview and how is your I-485 online status so far? Thanks

Question for anyone who has traveled on AP before:

What documents am I required to bring with my upon my return to the US? I have my AP document and my passport, but am I required to bring any of my other documents related to either my I-360 or my I-485 (which has been held in abeyance)

Thanks

Hello,

How was your trip by using AP? And what is your online status after you put I-485 in abeyance so far? Thank you

From what I gather the judge probably granted you an admin closure. They're not really supposed to grant a termination without an approved petition. Basically case is still ongoing, jurisdiction over I-485 still rests with the judge, but there won't be any further hearings unless someone moves for a re-calendar.

Thank you @Demise

I360 got approved a month ago today the i485 had an update and its RFE. Is there a good chance that that is for medicals?

That should be good news. I guess they are requesting a new i-693, a report of medical.

it looks like the rfe has only been requested on my moms i485 petition and not mines or my siblings. is that normal? or does it take time to propagate because different agents are handling it?

Hello family, I had my Vawa approved on 28 March 2022,

my I-485 had been pending since November, Today it show's update as follow.

On September 13, 2022, we transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt , to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice.
January 29, 2020 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken.

Can you tell me, is that a good thing or the case will be delayed longer?
I am relieved for the update yet confuse at the same time.
any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you.
